本来、金融担当大臣か金融庁長官が言うべき正論なのだが、それは期待できない。誰かが常識を記者に説かなければならぬ、こう腹をくくって安斎社長はリスクを取り記者団の前に出ていったのではないか。確認していないが、こう思い込むことにした。
「あまりに完全なものを求めると経費がかかり、顧客の負担も増えてしまう」
この一文を全国紙に掲載させた安斎社長の功績は大きい。
